ROYAL ICING RECIPE
Royal icing is a sweet, hard icing that's made from egg whites and confectioners sugar.
It can be used to decorate cookies or cakes.
INGREDIENTS
4 Cups( 500g) confectioner sugar.
4 eggs whites.
1 tsp lemon juice.
Food coloring( optional).
PREP TIME: 15- 20 minutes.
DIRECTION
1. In a electric mixing bowl, place measured confectioner sugar( powdered sugar) and set aside.
2. Separate egg whites into another small bowl and add into the sugar.
3. Add lemon juice and mix on low-medium speed until the icing is smooth.
4. Add food coloring and mix again or leave mixture plain white.
5. Use immediately or store in an airtight container in a fridge.
