SCOTTISH MILKY SHORT BREAD RECIPE

Short bread is a Scottish  biscuit made with  just three ingredients: flour,  sugar and butter. Other ingredients  like milk,  cornflour,  cocoa powder are sometimes added to enhance the looks, texture or taste. 
It can be used as breakfast combined with hot chocolate, milk, tea or coffee.
INGREDIENTS
°11/2cup( 180g) all purpose flour.
°1 cup( 125g) of butter.
°55g sugar.
° 3/4 cup powdered  milk.
° 1 tsp vanilla extract.
SERVING:20- 25 short bread biscuits.
TOTAL TIME: 55 minutes.
PREP:30 minutes.
COOKING TIME: 25 minutes.
DIRECTION:
1.Preheat oven to 180°C
2.Beat butter and sugar together until smooth.
3.Add flour and powdered milk into the butter mixture and and knead well until all the ingredients are properly incorporated ( Mixing machine isn't required).
4.Move dough to a flat surface.( kneading table or board). and with the help of a rolling pin, gently roll out 2cm thick.
5.Cut out shapes of  your choice with a cookie cutter or knife and place onto a baking tray.
6. Bake in the oven for  20- 25 minutes.
7. Remove from oven and place on a cooling rack.
